No. SafeFonts Pro is a complete standalone plugin. Once you install and activate the Pro version, the free version will be automatically deactivated.

Since both plugins share the same database tables, the free version is not automatically uninstalled.

You can optionally remove all data when uninstalling — just go to the plugin’s Settings → Data Management section and enable the “Erase data on uninstall” checkbox.

There’s no need to have both plugins active at the same time.
